Share any voice note to Bhala and read it as text. Bhala works out which language it's in and breaks long notes into short paragraphs. Tap a word to replay just that part.
Voice typing
Talk in your language. Bhala types it.
Press the mic and talk in isiZulu, isiXhosa, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, Xitsonga, Tshivenḓa, isiNdebele, siSwati or English. Bhala works out which one you're speaking. Nothing to set.
Word suggestions
Mix your languages. No switching keyboards.

Nothing. Bhala Keyboard is free, with no ads.
Which phones does it work on?+–
Android phones with Android 8.0 or newer, from Google Play.
How do I get a voice note into Bhala?+–
In your chat app, press and hold the voice note, tap Share, then choose Bhala.
Does it work without data?+–
Yes. Typing, suggestions, voice typing and voice notes all work offline once Bhala is set up. GIF search needs the internet.
What is pre-registration?+–
Tap Pre-register on Google Play and we'll let you know on launch day. If your phone allows it, Google Play installs Bhala for you automatically.
